A Sheffield Charity has appealed for support at their Christmas fundraiser for children and young people.

Sheffield Women’s Aid has recently asked its followers to donate things from their Christmas Wish List.

The list includes things such as fluffy socks, scarves, hats for children and school stationery sets. As well as scented candles, stress balls, pop sockets, and books suitable for teenagers.

Their Twitter post said: “We know times are very tight for everyone, but we hope you are able to support us.

“All of these things make such a difference to children and young people, so thank you for any help you can offer.”

Additionally, people can donate gift cards for VUE cinema, Cineworld, bowling, XBOX, and PlayStation.

Sheffield Women’s Aid is a charity established in 1974, offering help to women and children in need. It provides support for a period of up to 6 months to help move on into independent living after leaving abusive relationships.
